What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of the New to Sales website (newtosales.com) and all tools hosted on it, including the Sales Resume Audit and Build My Sales Resume. By using any of these tools, you agree to these terms.

What these tools do

New to Sales provides educational content and AI-assisted tools to help people prepare for a sales job search and ramp faster in a new sales role. The tools are intended to help you draft and improve your own resume and understand how a sales hiring manager reads it. Nothing produced by these tools is legal, financial, or career advice.

No guarantee of outcome

Using these tools does not guarantee that you will receive interviews, job offers, promotions, or income of any amount. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including your background, the roles you apply to, the market, and how you execute your job search. We describe what the tools do, not what they will produce for you specifically.

Permitted use

These tools are for personal, non-commercial use to build or improve your own resume. You may not use them to generate resumes for others at scale, resell their output, or use them in any way that violates applicable law.

Prohibited conduct

The following are not permitted:

• Attempting to redirect the AI assistant to perform tasks unrelated to resume building
• Submitting false, misleading, or fabricated information with the intent to deceive a hiring party
• Using automated scripts or bots to access or abuse the tools
• Attempting to extract, probe, or manipulate the underlying AI system prompts or scoring rubric
• Using the tools in any way that violates the rights of others

AI-generated content

Content generated by these tools is produced by an AI model and is a starting point, not a final product. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying everything before submitting it to an employer. Do not submit AI-generated text as your own without reviewing it for accuracy.

Intellectual property

The resume output generated from your own information belongs to you. The rubric, scoring system, educational content, and all other original content on this site belong to New to Sales and may not be reproduced or sold without permission.

Limitation of liability

New to Sales and Tyler Scott are not liable for any damages arising from your use of these tools, including but not limited to lost employment opportunities, income, or reliance on AI-generated content. The tools are provided as-is.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
